Poco M6 Pro 5G With Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC Launched

On Saturday, the Poco M6 Pro 5G smartphone was released in India. This device has a dual back camera configuration and is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. The smartphone will be available in India beginning August 9 at 12 p.m. IST. It has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W rapid charging. It ships with MIUI 14 based on Android 13. The Poco M6 Pro 5G has a 6.79-inch display, which is touted to be the largest display among Poco smartphones.

Today is the official debut of the Poco M6 Pro 5G. The Poco India handle confirmed the launch of the smartphone, which is described as a "5G disrupter" in a post on X.

On the smartphone, Poco offers two storage and RAM choices. The base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage costs Rs 10,999, while the model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs 12,999. The Poco M6 Pro 5G will be available for purchase in India on August 9 at 12 p.m. IST. In India, the smartphone will only be available through Flipkart.

Specifications for the Poco M6 Pro 5G

This 5G smartphone from Xiaomi's sub-brand features a 6.79-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The Poco M6 Pro 5G's screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 layer. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. It ships with Android 13-based MIUI 14 and promises two major OS updates as well as three years of security patches.
